something blue is a DJ, promoter, mixologist, writer, producer, and content creator who was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Between a strong musical background and several years of working alongside legendary Detroit producers and DJs, something blue has been a force to be reckoned since their DJ journey began, using their experience and passion to curate their sets with the specific, unique, and alluring sounds of Detroit’s finest Techno, GhettoTech, Electro, and House productions.

What does liberation mean to you?

Liberation is an extension of freedom. While freedom is experienced by all and provides people with the space to do or speak what they want, liberation is experienced by far fewer people and gives them the space to do or speak what they feel, without fear of unjust consequences.
