LIBER8 PGH
On Sunday June 18 Black Techno Matters, with support from Mostbeautifullest, presents Liber8 US, a simultaneous multi-city Juneteenth celebration featuring 40+ black artists from across the country. With liberation as the theme, and using the dancefloor as a means to come together and look toward a decolonized future, this event is a statement to the music community and the world that BLACK TECHNO MATTERS. Liber8 shows what's possible when Black artists organize together, rep their city, and celebrate the tapestry of techno and electronic music from a Black perspective.
The Steel City's daytime contribution to this event, Liber8 PGH, boasts a roaster of both experienced and up-and-coming DJs who each have their own perspective and outlook on the genre.
