Maya Universe began dipping their toes into music through diy venues and art houses. They came around Pittsburgh’s music scene with the gFx crew, collaborated with Boo Lean on a variety of events, hosted and played with Huny XO of Mostbeautifullest and a few other notable parties.

What does liberation mean to you?

Liberation means you have the freedom to grow into who you are and no one has the right to dictate your place in society. You have the right to take up space.
