DJ Dissolve was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He began producing at the beginning of the pandemic and has spent the last 3 years diligently working on his skills as a producer and solidfying himself as a top-notch curator in Portland's growing underground electronic music scene. Whether he's behind a mixing board, turntables, or a drum machine his goal remains the same...making the urge to move - irresistible.

What does liberation mean to you?

Liberation for me represents the process by which an enslaved or in any other way restricted entity emerges from the point of restriction or bondage. To be liberated is to move past (or shatter through) the point in which an external entity has control over your freedom be it cognitivie, physical, spirtual or other.
