Hailing from Richmond, VA, TP2 has taken his talents (and gear) to the West Coast and has quickly settled into the hardware scene in Los Angeles. His live sets range from melodic to hardcore, highlighted by unfamiliar alien-like sounds that characterize his own brand of techno. TP2’s raw and eclectic sound has been featured on Black Techno Matters’ N3W P4RAD1GM with his tracks “Spirit Bus” and “Ashant,” and now compiled into Galactic Gala EP–his first solo release under the label.

Galactic Gala EP is a story about a high-spirited species across the cosmos coming together to share ideas, including music, fashion, and intergalactic policies. Every song can be seen as a character or scene in this story, each with its own personality connected by a constant, but never repetitive, rhythm. From the alien rave of “Galactic Gala,” the lost gaming level in “Whimsical Whale,” the enigmatic “Mystical Man,” to the screeching percussion bringing attention to the state of every world in “Global Crises,” there is a concoction of beats and vibes for every species’ taste.
