DJ DanceAlone - Acceptance

Washington, D.C. – BLACK TECHNO MATTERS releases its 25th digital album, ACCEPTANCE, by Memphis-based producer and DJ, Darnell Stewart, aka DJ DanceAlone. In his sophomore album with the label, DJ DanceAlone addresses the current U.S. political climate, expressing the difficulty in accepting what the new administration has done, could do, and is concerned for the future of the country. The artwork for ACCEPTANCE characterizes the scale of challenges ahead: a person in a small boat at sea, met by a massive entity that arises from the water. The large entity depicts the uncontrollable adversity that presents itself on a regular basis, while the person in the boat is DJ DanceAlone–and likely many others in America–wishing there was a better outcome, but ultimately accepting whatever the fate will be in hopes of survival. Come along as DJ DanceAlone tells this story through the stages of ACCEPTANCE.
