DJ DanceAlone

Darnell Stewart is an audio wizard who has been influencing the Memphis underground scene for 6 years. With features for music communities and collectives like EELF, OOUkFunkOO, Hate Lab, XLR8R, Choose901, and Wonky Angle, Darnell shows he is a mainstay and architect in the new direction of dance music in Memphis and surrounding areas in the American South. 

While Darnell used to have 2 aliases (DJ DanceAlone for his House projects and Dakuan for his Techno/IDM works), he has recently chosen to do all his music under the DJ DanceAlone moniker. He takes unconventional approaches to somewhat conventional music, melting sample-based production techniques over enjoyable grooves.
