Techno in the Park - DJ Underdog

It’s officially Spring here in DC which means it’s time for the 4th season of TECHNO IN THE PARK! Join us Friday April 5 at Malcolm X Park as we kick things off with none other than DJ UNDERDOG!

Born in Panama, @underdogthedj moved to DC at age seven with his mother and has since set down strong roots and been instrumental in shaping the landscape of the subculture of the Nation’s Capital and beyond. This talented DJ, graphic designer, educator, community-builder and contemporary storyteller was also named one of the Kennedy Center’s Next 50 leaders who are moving us toward a more inspired, inclusive, and compassionate world. DJ UNDERDOG has also shared stages with musical giants such as Questlove, Thundercat, Sango, and Femi Kuti,  and his residencies include AFROPUNK, OkayAfrica DC, Eaton Radio and ElectraAfrique NYC. Underdog also serves on Eaton Radio’s Community Advisory Board.
